Collection: Hand-Dyed Yarn
Each skein of Slip’N’Stitch's fandom fibres are hand-dyed by me, one batch at a time, in a small home studio. This is a slow, hands-on process, not mass production, and it’s what makes every skein special.
Because I work with limited space and small dye pots, slight variations in color placement, saturation, or tone can occur between batches. No two dye sessions are ever perfectly identical, and that natural variation is part of the character of hand-dyed yarn.
That said, I care deeply about consistency. Every colorway is carefully recorded and recreated to the best of my ability, and I always aim to keep each new batch as close as possible to the original design.
What this means for you
• Colors may vary slightly between skeins or batches
• Minor differences are normal and expected in hand-dyed yarn
• For larger projects, alternating skeins every few rows is recommended
• If you have concerns about matching skeins, feel free to reach out before ordering
Skeins dyed together are listed under the same dye lot for the closest possible colour match.
For best consistency on larger projects, we recommend ordering from a single dye lot where available.
