Processing Times
Slip’N’Stitch is a small, one-person business. Every order is packed by hand with care.
Processing times refer to how long it takes to prepare your order before shipping.
These times are listed on each product page and vary depending on what you order.
Typical Processing Times
- Ready-to-ship items: Dispatched within 3–5 business days
- Hand-dyed yarn: Dispatched within 5–10 business days, depending on the batch and workload
- Pre-orders/Made-to-order items:
Processing times will be clearly stated on the product page - Digital products: Delivered instantly via download after purchase
Please note that processing times do not include shipping time.
Shipping Times (After Dispatch)
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times depend on your location and chosen shipping method.
- Denmark: Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days
- EU Countries: Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days
- United Kingdom: Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days (Please note that customs processing may occasionally cause delays.)
- International (Outside EU & UK): Estimated delivery: 7–21 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance.
These timeframes are estimates provided by shipping carriers and may vary due to:
- Customs processing
- Peak periods (holidays, sales, launches)
- Weather or transport delays
Customs, VAT & Import Fees
For orders shipped outside Denmark, additional customs fees, VAT, or import charges may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
These fees are:
- Determined by your local customs authority
- Not included in the item price or shipping cost
- The responsibility of the customer
Slip’N’Stitch is not able to control or predict these charges.
Tracking Information
Where available, tracking details will be provided once your order has shipped.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear after dispatch.
Delays & Lost Packages
While delays are rare, they can occasionally happen.
If your order appears delayed or hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe:
- Please wait a few extra days (especially for international orders)
- Then contact me with your order number so I can help investigate
Slip’N’Stitch is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs, but I will always do my best to assist where possible.
